As I’m sure you know we have a brilliant team of bellringers at St Katharine’s and to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018 they rang a peal from our church tower. This is a very complicated and disciplined operation which has strict rules, and to commemorate their achievement a “Peal Board” has been created.
This will be dedicated during the 11am service on Sunday 22nd September when our Tower Captain, Mike Kay and other ringers will be joining us. They have offered to stay after the service to answer any questions you may have – it is fascinating. Following the Dedication, the Peal Board will be displayed in the Ringing Room.
