It was wonderful to see so many people from the village and beyond join us for one (or many) of our Christmas services in which we celebrated the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The celebrations started with the Christmas Eve Crib service which saw over 250 people, adults and children, come and join in learning about the Christmas story. The children and young people had the opportunity to dress up and joined us in the Christmas scene that we developed as the story progressed (see pictures below). Many thanks to Becky and Matt who took on the roles of Mary and Joseph and their new baby who represented Baby Jesus.
The celebrations continued later in the evening when we held our Midnight Eucharist and it was lovely to see the church looking so beautiful as it twinkled in the candle light.
Finally, we then awoke to join in the Christmas Day service, which was a lovely and joyful service.
