Following on from the success of the canal trip last month, we would like to invite you to join us on a day trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park to see Wave; the iconic poppy sculptures first displayed at the Tower of London as part of the WW1 Centenary commemorations.
Transport will be provided by Tyrers Coaches at a cost of £12.50 per head, payable at the point of booking. The coach will depart from St. Katharine’s at 10am with an expected arrival time of 11.30am. The coach will leave Yorkshire Sculpture Park at 3.30pm, returning to St. Katharine’s at 5pm.
Once at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, you are free to explore the indoor and outdoor exhibitions; enjoy a freshly-prepared lunch and panoramic views of the park in the licensed restaurant, and peruse the shop, which won the Northern Design Award for Best Independent Retailer in 2012.
