Christingle Service

Christingle Service

Sunday 10th December at 4.00pm at St Katharine’s Church.

All welcome to this service during which we will light a Christingle candle and explore the symbolism of each element.

* The orange represents the world

* The red ribbon (or tape) symbolises the love and blood of Christ

* The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God’s creations

* The lit candle represents Jesus’s light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.

Christingles will be provided but if you would like to make your own and bring it along that will be welcome.  More details on the Children’s Society website at: www.childrenssociety.org.uk

There will be a collection in aid of The Children’s Society during the service.
