Being a representative on the PCC is open to everyone on the Electoral Roll. If you feel you have time to offer and would like to support St Katharine’s in this way we are looking for parishioners with a fresh outlook who would enjoy being part of this area of parish life.
Meetings happen about once every six weeks and you would be made very welcome.
Churchwardens and Sidespeople
Rob Sharp retires from his position as Churchwarden in April. This is a very important role and they liaise with the Vicar and make sure that all the services and daily life of the church run smoothly.
The length of time a Churchwarden is expected to serve in office has been reduced from 6 years to 4 years. There is a strong team in place to help – on the PCC and as sidespeople.
If you would like to know more just have a word with Angela, or the churchwardens or any member of the PCC.
The Annual Parochial Church meeting will be held on Sunday 22nd April 2018.
Are you on the Electoral Roll?
Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is on Sunday 22nd April this year. In order for you to be able to vote on any items at that meeting you need to be on the Electoral Roll.
Forms are available from the office, just ask one of the church wardens or Sheila Kinrade, who is our electoral Roll Officer, and they will gladly help you.
If you are not sure what being on the Roll is all about, then again please have a word.
